We represent clients before Immigration Courts all over the country, helping immigrants seek Asylum, Cancellation of Removal, and other relief. We also take detained cases, and seek bond for eligible clients.
We represent clients in appeals and motions before the Board of Immigration Appeals and Administrative Appeals Office. We also handle federal litigation cases such as petitions for review, habeas corpus petitions, and mandamus actions.
We file petitions for custody in the New Jersey Superior Courts, and obtain Special Immigrant Juvenile Status for clients by filing I-360 petitions with USCIS. Clients who obtain SIJS status can obtain their permanent residency.
We assist in preparing multiple forms of humanitarian relief with various federal agencies. VAWA clients were abused by a citizen or resident. U visa recipients were the victim of a crime here in United States. DACA, TPS, and other parolees have permission to live and work in United States. Military Parole in Place beneficiaries have a close family member who is or was part of the United States Armed Forces.
We help individuals obtain residency through family-based I-130 petitions. Clients may be eligible to Adjust Status here in United States and file an I-485 application with USCIS; clients overseas can obtain immigrant visas through consular processing.
We help clients obtain waivers of inadmissibility due to issues such as past criminal convictions, immigration violations, or certain medical conditions. This includes I-601 and I-601A waivers and I-212 waivers. Waivers are adjudicated by USCIS and in immigration court.
We file N-400 applications for clients for citizenship with USCIS, and N-600 applications for individuals who derive citizenship through a parent.
Jason Scott Camilo was raised with deep appreciation for American democracy and passionate empathy for the plight of the immigrant. He attended The Pennsylvania State University, where he earned a BA in Administration of Justice before obtaining his Juris Doctorate from Temple Law. Since joining the bar and entering private practice in 2004, Mr. Camilo has represented thousands of clients from dozens of countries. Jason fights to keep families together, not separate them. He has advocated for clients in well over thirty states, and is fluent in English and Spanish. He is admitted to practice before the New Jersey and Pennsylvania Supreme Courts, along with several Federal courts.
An integral part of Jason's practice is pro bono work. He passionately believes that every immigrant deserves an attorney to help them traverse the intricacies of the legal system.
